Red Kites have been busy in Music Lessons
In Science, Barn Owls are developing their curiosity and investigation skills.
It was lovely to see everyone back and refreshed after the May Half Term Break.
Snowy Owls begin every morning with a funky fingers activity to strengthen their hand and finger muscles and prepare their hands for writing. This week they used syringes to paint onto filter paper observing the colours mixing and changing.
Snowy Owls have been nature detectives, working with Red Kites and Barn Owls, hunting for nature items.
Barn Owls have been creative and collaborative in music.
Our local MP, Ben Goldsborough, was a special guest in assembly on Thursday.
Snowy Owls have been using their fine motor skills to help clean our muddy dinosaurs. The children have worked together to fill the water bowl and dipping their toothbrushes to wash the mud off the dinosaurs; increasing the strength in their hands.
Snowy Owls enjoyed spending time with the older children in school.
For VE80, Barn Owls and Red Kites visited their local church.
In English, we have begun learning all about the story The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
