Barn Owls have been experimenting again, but not in science this time!
In RSHE, we’ve been learning all about hygiene, good hygiene habits, and why being hygienic is so important. To help us understand how easily germs can spread, we carried out a fun experiment using hand sanitizer and glitter which acted as germs. One of us became unwell and shook hands with someone else, we then picked up our belongings and opened doors. Before long, we could see the glitter germs everywhere—on our hands, clothes, hair, belongings, and around the room! It was a great way to see just how quickly germs can travel and reminded us why keeping clean is so important.
