Snowy Owls have had a very busy week!

See what they have been up to....
They decided to build an aeroplane. They navigated their space whilst moving the blocks to create a long aeroplane shape. Lots of language about size and positional language was used. “You’re sitting behind…”.
Snowy Owls also joined with the other classes to work in groups creating a poster, showing the features of different types of animals. Snowy owls helped in their groups to colour the pictures and showed their scissor skills by cutting them out to stick them on the poster. They worked well within their groups and communicated well to learn about the feature of animals.
In art they have been learning how to make soft thin lines and pushing hard to make thick dark lines. Snowy owls demonstrated how well they could follow the lines, choosing to mark-make thin or thick.
Snowy owls also enjoyed role playing a McDonalds drive thru whilst riding their bikes. They collected the “salads” from the wooded area in a wheelbarrow. They took orders from her friends and created their orders in the mud kitchen. Orders included “chips” and a “banana milkshake".
