Soak The Teacher!
Thank you so much to all who came to support our soak the teacher event. We raised £54.45 for Mothers Mercy in Africa 🤩
🌍 Why Are We Fundraising?
Our school is proud to support Mother’s Mercy Home, an orphanage in Kenya that Andrew, CEO of the Trust and Scout Leader, has been working with for over 15 years.
Every three years, UK Explorer Scouts travel to Kenya to improve the lives of children there. The last visit was in 2023 and the next trip is planned for 2026.
This time, the aim is to raise £5,000 to build a much-needed toilet block with sit-down toilets for the children. Through events like this, our school is playing an important part in helping reach that goal.
