The health benefits of foods

Last week, in D&T we discussed the difference between processed foods and whole foods. We looked at some examples including chicken nuggets and tinned mince meat - what unfamiliar ingredients could we see?

We learned about the difference regarding health benefits and nutrition and summarised that although sometimes processed foods taste nicer, whole foods tend to be better for you.

We then made our own pasta recipe using fresh whole ingredients and compared it to a shop bought sauce. There were definitely some mixed reviews!
